What is a “myELF?”

myELF stands for my Electronic Lawyer Finder. The patent-pending myELF computer program is a web-based software database accessed through the MICourtHelp.com website.

What makes myELF so great?

DG & J, Incorporated spent more than two years in research and development of myELF.  Surveys, focus groups and open forums were used to determine the process a person uses to select an attorney.  The result of our research is the information found in the myELF program – the exact information our respondents said is necessary for them to hire an attorney.

What’s all this “Research?”

Since 2005, DG & J, Incorporated has conducted numerous surveys, focus groups and public forums with more than 1,500 Michigan Residents.  The complete report of our research findings will be available for review at the Michigan State Bar Annual Meeting, or a brief synopsis may be viewed here.

Who is DG & J, Incorporated?

The driving force behind DG & J, Incorporated is the executive team, compiled of experts in their fields.  The Legal field is well represented by a 20-year veteran Michigan attorney, and a Paralegal who graduated at the top of her class.  The technology field is more than adequately represented by a master web designer and program developer.  Finally, marketing and relations is the responsibility of a multi-major graduate, with a primary concentration in sales from EMI. 

What are you doing to promote me as part of myELF?

DG & J, Incorporated spent the summer of 2007 promoting the myELF program at more than 21 events, fairs, and expos – before the program was even released!  In 2008, the number of events where it is expected DG & J, Incorporated will showcase the myELF program includes 85 County and local Fairs, 107 Trade Expos, and 32 community events.  Also, DG & J, Incorporated makes weekly Press Releases to local trade publications, newspapers, television stations, radio stations, and civic organizations, to provide the public with information about the MICourtHelp.com website in general.  In addition, DG & J Incorporated is currently in negotiations to list myELF in every yellow pages in Michigan.
